Radon Kits available
at the GCHD, please stop by, pick-up
a kit to have your home tested for
the cancer causing Radon gas that is
naturally occurring, invisible,
odorless, and tasteless gas that
comes from deposits of uranium in
soil, rock and water. It is
harmlessly dispersed in outdoor air,
but is harmful when trapped in
buildings at elevated levels.
Add Variety to Your Menu
Ensure that you get all the
nutrients you need by varying
the foods you eat. Sample a
colorful range of fruits and
vegetables, different whole grains
and an assortment of low-fat cheeses
and yogurts. For protein, try
seeds, nuts and beans of all kinds
as an alternative to meat. Be
adventurous and find new nutritional
favorites!
