Add Variety to Your Menu  Ensure that you get all the nutrients you need by varying the foods you eat.  Sample a colorful range of fruits and vegetables, different whole grains and an assortment of low-fat cheeses and yogurts.  For protein, try seeds, nuts and beans of all kinds as an alternative to meat.  Be adventurous and find new nutritional favorites!

Note: Is your family prepared to take care of themselves in case of a disaster?  Do you have a Family Disaster Kit at home? Visit the Grant County Health Department, and see an example of a kit.  You can go to our web page to see the information for making a disaster kit.
